Two days ago we celebrated the first day of spring. Although it still may not be very visible, the weather is getting warmer and the trees are becoming green. People are spending more time outside with their families and friends, everyone seems to be having more energy. It’s good time to start a new activity or to take up a hobby. Personally, I feel more positive about everything. I hope the next days will be as warm as today. The weather forecast says it’ going to be 19 degrees in a few hours! I’m planning to go out running and enjoy the sun. I usually go jogging near Warta river, which is also famous for attracting a different type of spring lovers – students from Poznan gather on Warta banks to talk, drink and grill. It’s a lot of fun, too!

Let it snow!

Source: https://www.biznews.com/briefs/2014/02/25/harsh-weather-tests-optimism-u-s-economy There are two kinds of people – these who like snow and these who hate it. I’m somewhere in the middle of this battle. To me, snow is a nice thing in December, with all those lights, Christmas Trees and other adornments. It looks really magic when combined together. I love these lazy evenings with my decorative candles lighting in the room, a good film and snow outside. Nothing better than moments like this, with a warm blanket, of course! However, if the snow falls in April when it’s absolutely not supposed to, I rather hate it. Moreover, I’m cold almost every day so winter is especially tricky to me as I try to stay warm at home or during classes and snow doesn’t help at all. I hope it will fall at Christmas Eve, though, which isn't now as obvious in Poland as it used to be :)

Why don’t you have a rest?

source: forsal.pl Nowadays people are living so fast. Every morning you can see them almost running to get to work, pupils with big school bags walking fast because they’ve overslept, old ladies going to the market in order to be the first in buying the best groceries and cars passing by with an incredible speed.  What makes all of them losing their heads? Well, the answer is pretty simple: money and obligations. All the society is used to this type of life and I’m afraid sometimes we don’t have any other option. I’m one of these “running people”. I always walk hurriedly and have a lot of things to do in my tense schedule. It’s very annoying when someone is walking slowly in front of me and I can’t get ahead. In such situations I have an impression that this person is stealing my valuable time. Of course it’s not true, but when you have a hundred things to do, every minute is priceless. However, every day I try to find a moment only for myself and I think all of us should t...

Ho, ho, ho!

I can’t say I was among them, because you just can’t compare getting money from your parents to finding a gift under the bed in the morning. I remember writing letters to Santa and giving them to parents so they would send them to him. Of course, the letters never gone any farther, but the presents always came on time. How was it possible?!  It is a really nice tradition and I think children should be let to believe in Santa Claus. It’s a part of a childhood, just like the Tooth Fairy. Nowadays, I don’t expect my parents to give me anything. I’ve grown up and Santa only comes to the smaller ones. However, I don’t object if they want to give me a little something :) I’m still their child.
